Stain Your Fence
Why Professional Fence Restoration Is Necessary:
Pressure washers are abrasive. They will peel the wood and remove filth and grime, but you risk destroying it if you erode the wood too deeply. Our fence professionals are educated and understand the precise psi required to clean your fence properly and without causing more damage.
We can assess your fence and decide the best stain product and application procedure for extending the life of your fence.
We have the necessary tools/materials to execute the task effectively. Our equipment is superior than those available for rent at home improvement stores.
When Pressure Washing Is Done Inadequately, It Can Cause Significant Damage to Your Fence!!
FENCE STAINING
Staining and Restoration of Arbors, Pergolas, and Decks
Your deck or arbor should serve as an outdoor gathering area for friends and family—and you shouldn't have to worry about it becoming worn and old. Our arbor and deck restoration professionals have the skills and experience necessary to restore your deck or arbor to its former glory. A restoration job entails more than pressure washing; in fact, there are instances when blasting the surfaces with a high-pressure stream can easily destroy the wood and cause damage to your deck. Our restoration professionals will evaluate the situation and recommend the most appropriate line of action. Whether it requires simple touch-ups or a complete restoration, we will provide you with a written quote and detailed explanation of the procedure.
Restoration of Arbors and Decks
Our deck and arbor repair professionals gently remove the very thin top layer of wood, revealing a layer of fresh new wood beneath. We then stain your deck or arbor with a high-quality, long-lasting stain that protects and extends the life of the wood. Your arbor or deck will be completely restored to its original state!
Painting Iron and Metal Fences
Choosing the finest metal fence product:
While black is the standard color for wrought iron fencing, various colors are available.
Typically, wrought iron is coated in a semi-gloss or gloss finish.
Acrylic enamels are recommended for use on wrought iron, as Alkyd (oil-based) enamels do not last as long when exposed to the sun. Recent generations of “combination” oil-based enamels (e.g. Urethane Alkyd) have been introduced to the market, promising considerable advantages over Acrylic or conventional Alkyds. We propose Urethane Alkyds for clients who like a gloss finish.
The paints used are “direct to metal” solutions that require no priming unless rust prevention is required.
Preparing the Fence's Surface
Power cleaning is necessary only when mud and debris have accumulated on the fence surface.
The iron fence's surface should be prepared with a wire brush to remove loose debris, followed by a light sanding to remove surface oxidation and prepare the surface for maximum adherence of the topcoat of paint.
Rust Control
Severe rust areas may require pretreatment with a phosphoric acid-based rust inhibitor or, in certain circumstances, a complete coat of rust preventing primer.
Application of the Product
Our skilled specialists apply paint to wrought iron fences utilizing brush, mini-roller, or paint glove techniques.
